you know....When I worked at Nordstrom I used to almost cringe when customers used to tell me to have a good weekend.....now......ahhhh.....it's the greatest feeling ever! I almost don't know what to do with myself!! If not apparent enough, my last day at Nordstrom was Thursday and my first (actually 3rd) but first official day at Enhance was Friday! I officially don't work for Nordstrom anymore....which is nice, but sad too.
My last day at Nordstrom, everyone was there....it was nice. My whole department was there even on their day off. It kinda sucked though because I have been in so much pain because of my tooth I didn't get to eat much, but I felt loved!
So....Monday I was eating some peanuts and then all the sudden my tooth started hurting....I kinda just brushed it off, until it started hurting so bad in the middle of the night that I couldn't sleep. I woke up on Tuesday and had to take Allen to turn in all his guard applications and then came home before I had to be to work and was in so much pain. I called work and told them I was going to go the dentist because my mouth started getting swollen. After waiting 2 hours in the lobby at the dentist I hate ( I hate all dentists, but I really hate this one ) he told me he had to refer me to a specialist and gave me antibiotics. Because I was 2 hours late to work, I didn't go turn in my prescription, and went to work.....bad idea. After work I went to go pick it up and they said I had to have an insurance card, which they have never given me and have always told me just to give my social. That didn't work....I automatically just get really upset....I wasn't feeling good at all. I was freeezing when everyone was roasting hot, my tooth hurt like crazy and I just broke down. My co-worker and friend came to Walgreens where I was and gave me some of her antibiotics and pain meds she had and I went home.
The first night of pain, I closed at work....
The next morning (Wednesday)...yeah, I still went to work
After going to work looking like this...I almost had to beg to leave (all my co-workers were telling me just to leave, but I wanted to make sure it was ok with the boss). This pic is right before going to the dentist the second time. I called a family friend dentist to see if he would see me the same day and they said come right in. Best dentist I have ever been to. He drilled me a little to get some of it to drain and then sent me home with another prescription for antibiotics and vicodin es. Not recommending anyone take that!!! I've never have taken any drugs, but on Friday I swear I was coming down from a high or something. I swear there were tons of little dogs at my feet running around. Havn't taken any since. Thank goodness I was at the new job with my dad next door I was able to go lay down and sleep it off on my lunch.
Thursday morning after 2 doses of antibiotics. Went to work and stayed the whole day because it was my last day.
Friday afternoon....didn't feel so hot this morning after taking vicodin, but feeling much better now! Swelling going down tremendously!!

Ok, so the new job is a little stressful....no downtime whatsoever....lots of cattiness.....interesting patients.....all of what I said I wouldn't miss when I left Nordstrom. I am coming up on 1 month here and I'm hoping to get a raise like my coworker says usually happens. I should be making at least $5 for dollars an hour than I am right now. Easy. But every job has its ups and downs right? The greatest thing about my new job though, is getting to see my dad everyday. I love him so much and it's awesome to have him so close. I feel like I could count on him if I needed anything while at work. It's great to also be at the office everyday to know whats going on and try and make him a little less stressed out. 2 more days till FRIDAY!! wo0ho0!!
