My Own Mini Christmas ♥

The reason I haven't been posting... my dog wont let me! hehe

Well...it's coming a little too fast for me, but Christmas is here for sure! For some reason, it doesn't feel as hyped up as normal, but thats fine with me. Of course, as I stated before, it has made me a little depressed that I don't have my own little home to decorate, but I HAD to do a little. Christmas is not Christmas without a TREE!! May I add, Christmas trees are ridiculous this year!! We went to a couple different lots, but ended up just getting one that was the same price as the first because they were all ridiculously priced!! I wouldn't mind paying for a good sized tree for a good sized living room, but this year I was just looking for a Charlie Brown tree...because I have a Charlie Brown room instead of a home. So we got a tree, stopped by Target to just get a strand of lights and one package of ornaments, since I didn't want to go through my "I moved in 24hours" storage to try and find everything. It was cute, and I was happy. I haven't figured out (I know it's late!) how I am going to take my Christmas photo next to a 5 foot tree, but we will work that out later. haha. A couple days later I came home to a even cute Christmas tree. Allen had went out and got some star ornaments and and more strands of lights to hang up everywhere. Our little haven is so cute and festive! Small, but festive!

Not too much new...I am trying to get used to Allen working on Saturdays when I am off. Although, you have to love getting a $900 brake job done for $40. Loveeee you!! I don't like staying in this house without him (if I do, I sit in our room) so I have been spending lots of time with my friends and family. Always a good thing. I have been on a search for a pair of glasses that look cute on me...any ideas? I think I just look goofy in all of them :(

Friends ♥

So last night my friend Jessica was in town to celebrate her birthday. I haven't seen her probably since right after High School. We all went out to dinner to PF Changs and of course rambled on about the funny things we did in High School and Middle School. It was so fun. It was much needed friend time that I haven't had in a really long time. I was so excited that I got to see her.

It's almost Thanksgiving which means I only have to work 3 days this week! Woohoo!!

No More Excuses...

That's right...my laptop has been fixed for about a week now, so it is time to post!! I won't write much, but I have lots of pictures to post.

It's been such a long time. Nothing ever too big happens...so quick re-cap. Allen sold his bike and got a different one. A bike that he has been wanting for a long long time. He also sold his car to get money to buy cool stuff for his bike. His son came to visit earlier last month, so we got to spend a weekend with him. We went to the pumpkin patch, where once again I convinced Allen to ride a ride with me. This time it was just the Farris Wheel so he didn't get sick...but it did make him a little nervous. Actually, this Farris Wheel was somewhat faster than any Farris Wheel I have seen or riden. It's funny because just this weekend they have the little carnival fair down the street and the Farris Wheel is sooooo slow compared to the one we went on. Haha.

We finally got rid of the crazy lady that worked with me and hired Katie, who is actually a friend of mine from Highschool and from church. I am really glad she is working with us, not only because she is completely awesome at working there, but that she will be a great influence for me!!

I wont post too much about my living situation....just know....I miss having my own place and especially with the Holidays coming up, it's making me sad.

Never in my 4 years of living on my own have I been able to keep ONE plant alive...here is one of the many flowers that are growing in the backyard that we planted for Shadow. :) Thanks Shadow!!

i diiiiiid it!!!

So....I did it! 5:15am is my new wake up time. Monday, I got up...all my stuff was ready...I had to tip toe out the door (which I hate by the way! Allen says I am being crazy)...went outside to get in my car and got a little scared (ya im scared of the dark, especially in south sac!)...and went off the the gym.

The instructor was totally shocked to see me, since I went 6 days a week for 3 months straight and then all the sudden stopped. Did the class, got to see my gym buddy, who was also insanely happy to see me!

Getting ready at the gym wasn't so bad. I was expecting it to be so much worse. I grab all my shampoo, conditioner, body wash, yada yada. Walked in the shower and they have body wash and shampoo in pumps on the wall! awesome! Minus the people who are just really too confident about their bodies, it was good.

Went back Tuesday, same thing. I felt great. This morning I woke up and realized I was missing some few essential items that I need, so I took a day off, but I'll be back at it again tomorrow.

I took all my measurements last night, since before when I was going so often I didn't and I was disappointed because I was looking on weight only. Bad idea. So we will see how this pans out...I can't wait to be skinny!! ♥

so cute...and so scary!!

Allen recently got a bike and we bought him this super cute jacket today...isn't he cute? :)

I was trying to take a picture without him knowing...hehe...he saw me in the rear view mirror!

Be careful!!!!!!

Just the beginning....

So I've been saying to myself for the past 2 weeks that I need to start going to the gym again...I want to start posting more often...I want to eat better...I want to be more organized...yada yada yada. I haven't done anything about it.

My big hold up is the gym. For 3 months straight I was going to the gym 6 daysa week at 5:30 every morning to take a cycling class that started at 6am. The gym was about 10 min from my house. As most of you know, I then was having trouble with my neighbor so I started not going to the gym in the morning because my neighbor would be outside at that time, and I just didn't feel safe. Well, of course, very soon after that I moved to South Sacramento.

Ever since then, I have been totally out of my workout routine, eating horrible (but oh so good Thai food!!), and just being lazy about everything I do. I want to keep going to the gym (as does my gym buddy who is so mad at me) but it is just so far away (about a 1/2 hour) and I can't contemplate trying to get ready at the gym when I am so used to getting ready in the comfort of my own home.

Monday, I am going to do it though...try it out. I have been asking a lot of people about it, and some are like "getting ready at the gym is so easy...everything will be fine" and some "1/2 hour to get to the gym at 6am? you are crazy!"

I was going to start this week, but of course they decided that they wanted to fire the HUGE hearted lady that worked with me and hire someone else that I had to train. Can I just say training is the most exhausting thing ever!! I couldn't imagine trying to do everything this week when I needed to catch up on my own work that I couldn't do because I was teaching someone else how to do their work. Enough blabber, THIS week!!! I am determined!!

I still have a lot of pictures to add but here are some and I will add later...

Almost my entire family was together to visit my Grandma & Grandpa. Unfortunately my grandpa did not look this way when we got to see him, and he passed away on August 29th. We are so fortunate to have such a smart Grandpa that did so much and influenced so many lives. While we were there, we got to get lots of great pictures!

I've become my Mother....

I guess it just seemed so hectic when we were there...and at times I just wanted to be home and be sleeping with my puppies...but I cried when I left. I just wished that times when I take off work to go visit my family, I didn't feel like I was running around with my head cut off and when I get home, I feel like it was something I had to do, and not what I wanted to do. Don't get me wrong, I love being in Utah, and I love my family more than anything, which is probably why I cried when we drove home. I miss my family already and told Allen next time I go there, it will not be for family reunion!

busy? nawww. hectic? to say the least

So....it's been too long. So much has happened, that I don't even know where to start. i will try and break it down in pieces so I am not writing a 10 page blog!! you can ask questions later! haha.

(ongoing) i got more job duties (as always)

(july 2nd) our neighbor called the cops on us and complained we were "trafficking"....are you serious right now?

(july 3rd) we ask our neighbor (aka drunk old insane crazy loonie bin guy) why he called the cops on us.

- he freaks out, tells us he is going to "take us out"

- it takes 911 3 hours to respond to 3 calls.

- we file a police report against this crazy guy because the cops tell us outright they can't do anything unless he shoots at us or breaks in our house.

(july 3rd & 4th) every time our drunk old insane crazy loonie bin neighbor is outside, he yells and taunts us to "come and get me....ill take both of you out"

- can't forget about the 4th of july!! fireworks!!!

(july 5th) ask allens parents if we can move in for a little while.

-e-mail, leave voicemails, fax letter twice to landlord.

(july 6th) pack

- talk to landlord. she has talked to the investors and tells me i have to give a 30 day notice and pay rent for the whole month.

(july 7th) move.

good times!!!!

(july 9th) say goodbye to allen's brother Tony, who was home for 10 days before he was shipped off to Germany. good luck!!!

so living with the parents is so nice, and so crappy at the same time. not having to worry about paying bills, is the best thing in the whole entire world!!!

not having pure freedom, is the worst thing in the whole world. allen, not having a job right now, says he works more doing chores for his mom than he does working a full time job. haha.

Allen cleaning the pool...

but, allens mom, being Thai, needless to say, we get good food, everyday!! i am learning a lot! today we made eggrolls.....pure heaven.

3 days until allens birthday, 5 days until Ty gets here, 6 days until we drive to utah, next month i get to see audrey!! wo0ho0!!

life is busy, but good.

still trying to figure out what i am going to do about my landlord. i haven't paid them rent, and don't want to. i have been researching a lot about the legal part of it. its the law to give a 30 day notice, unless other legal circumstances, including problems with neighbors. right now it stands if i don't pay rent, they will throw me into "eviction" ...help anyone?

more work....less money....what did i just do?

Ok, so the new job is a little stressful....no downtime whatsoever....lots of cattiness.....interesting patients.....all of what I said I wouldn't miss when I left Nordstrom. I am coming up on 1 month here and I'm hoping to get a raise like my coworker says usually happens. I should be making at least $5 for dollars an hour than I am right now. Easy. But every job has its ups and downs right? The greatest thing about my new job though, is getting to see my dad everyday. I love him so much and it's awesome to have him so close. I feel like I could count on him if I needed anything while at work. It's great to also be at the office everyday to know whats going on and try and make him a little less stressed out. 2 more days till FRIDAY!! wo0ho0!!

Weekend #2

I'm beginning to like this thing called a weekend! It's nice!! I got caught up on a little laundry (still to be folded, but CLEAN!, thats somethin right?) Which brings me to a nice point.....only in my house, when you are emptying pockets, do you come across this....
Not keys, not receipts, not dollar bills.....but a screwdriver!! and change! I had to laugh....only Allen.

The rest of the weekend was relaxing. Our friend Kegan told us the the carnival (aka the ghetto fair as we call it) that usually is in South Sac, was actually in Rocklin....so I convinced everyone that we had to go!! Allen loves playing the games, but hates the rides. Needless to say, I coaxed him into going with me....he was nauseous the rest of the day! SORRY!! :)

Of course, after spending about $20 bucks and winning lots of little toys, we cashed in and got the frog....and don't forget, cotton candy, Allens favorite!
